Saturday October 10 - Party Princess day is finally here! The Wedding Center/Tres Chic Boutique have a new "little sister" called Party Princess. Today I take my daughters to Party Princess to celebrate with their friends ;) My family has been amazingly supportive during my time as Mrs. Kentucky and this was a special day for them to be treated like queens (the party princess staff is amazing!). Look for more info at www.partyprincess.com and the November 2009 "Chatting with Christy" column for The Hamburg Journal.

Tuesday October 13 - Tonight marks the 2nd week of my Dale Carnegie Training. I can almost feel myself changing through this amazing course. I am learning new ways to think and most importantly better ways to communicate. Tonight each student in the class speaks to the group about a defining moment. I am so lucky to be a participant and can't wait till next week where we will express our proudest life achievement.

Wednesday October 14 - Today is my interview with Tim K. of The Pageantcast! The Pageantcast is a podcast on the topic of all things pageant related. I first met Tim K. in Cincinnati where we both were juding a regional pageant. We hit it off and Tim K. interviewed me in October 2007 about my pageant experiences. Today's interview was lots of fun and a great opportunity to catch up. We covered all topics including the 2009 Mrs. America Pageant! The interview is expected to air during the 2009 holiday season. As I know more info I will post updates. www.pageantcast.com ;)
